The school & pre-school department deals with all issues concerning the daily running of educational institutions for children, including registering and enrolling new pupils, ensuring that pupils attend school, and making up the school budgets. It also is responsible for hiring teaching personnel and developing curriculum in line with directives from the parliament in Nuuk.
